'90 Day Fiancé': Jihoon Lee Thanks Fans as Season Wraps, Elicia Clegg Asks Fans to Be Nice

90 Day Fiancé stars Jihoon Lee and Deavan Clegg could not be any more different, as evidenced by their relationship and its fallout on the TLC franchise. Now, with the season coming to a close, cast are reflecting on their time on the show. And that means Lee and Clegg have very different things to say as everything winds down. Jihoon Lee took to his stories to post about the end of the show, and the effect it had on him. Deavan Clegg, however, made a post of a different sort.

Jihoon Lee posts as the ‘90 Day Fiancé’ season ends

Since Deavan Clegg left Jihoon Lee on 90 Day Fiancé, the star has been the subject of several accusations from Clegg. She’s claimed that Lee physically abused her daughter Drascilla by pulling out her hair, and has repeatedly made claims that she has evidence and is starting a court case — none of this has moved forward in any way, and evidence is still forthcoming.

Fans have been feeling dubious about Clegg’s claims, especially following her rapid transition to dating Topher Park following her split from Lee. It’s also worth noting that Clegg told Jihoon Lee

she’d be returning to South Korea with his son, Taeyang, and she never did.

As a result, Lee has posted on Instagram about missing his son Taeyang, who he says he has had minimal contact with as a result of Clegg’s intervention.

Now, with the season coming to a close, Jihoon Lee is reflecting on everything that went down, and how it’s changed his life.

“Looks like the show’s finally over. I didn’t watch the show, but I could check through DM. I think I learned a lot from marriage and divorce. I was ashamed to see myself on the show. Nevertheless, I sincerely thank you for your support,” Lee wrote on his Instagram story.

“This show and divorce have been a turning point in my life. I feel like I need to work harder with this. Thank you so much for always supporting me,” he added.

Deavan Clegg and Elicia Clegg post as well

Deavan Clegg took to her Instagram story to post as well, but she wasn’t interested in reflecting on the season end like Jihoon Lee.

The 90 Day Fiancé star instead posted photos of her new lip fillers, as well as a promotional post for a new video on her YouTube channel, FamilyVanny, featuring Topher Park and Taeyang out in LA.

Elicia Clegg took to her story to post about the end of the season, and asked fans to be kind to her daughter.

“A big Thank You to all those who love and support my daughter Deavan. The last 2 Seasons have been hard. Remember you should post Love to your favorite Cast Members…Hate doesn’t help anyone. Life is too short. Spend your time in Love [sic],” she wrote.

‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans react

90 Day Fiancé fans got a kick out of Elicia Clegg’s request that folks be nice to Deavan Clegg, given their behavior online and on the show. Many fans on both Reddit and Instagram were quick to bash the Cleggs and show support for Jihoon Lee.

“You know what’s cruel? Lying to Jihoon, cheating on him, and accusing him of abuse. I don’t condone going to her page and saying cruel things. But man, Karma… is a b*tch,” wrote one disgruntled Redditor.

As for Deavan Clegg’s post about her new YouTube video, one user suggests it’s no coincidence she posted it right after the season wrapped, and after Jihoon Lee took to his stories.

“She’s so predictable. Always posting photos or videos of Taeyang with [Topher] right after Jihoon posts anything related to the show,” they wrote.

90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates shared Jihoon Lee’s Instagram story to his page in a screenshot. Comments seemed to largely be in support of Lee.

“It’s sad that he puts all the blame on himself. [S]he wasn’t an easy person to deal with or her daughter and mother,” wrote one user.

“I hope when Jihoon’s son grows up he gets to see this show and see for himself how manipulative and selfish his sorry excuse of a mother truly was. I am heartbroken for Jihoon and his son,” added another commenter.
