May is officially here, which means we're on the verge of warmer weather and, hopefully, some happier times. I hope you can get outside this month and enjoy some (socially distanced) fresh air, but when you're back inside, there are plenty of TV shows and movies to keep you occupied. Becoming: A documentary about Michelle Obama as she navigates her best-selling Becoming book tour. Streaming on Netflix
Bad Mothers: This Australian series is finally hitting American streaming. Per IMDb, it centers on "a group of misfit women who join forces to help each other juggle the challenges of work, romance, parenthood…and solving a murder." Streaming on Sundance Now
The Eddy: La La Land auteur director Damien Chazelle is back with a new eight-episode musical series, starring André Holland, Joanna Kulig, and Amandla Sternberg about a jazz club in Paris. Is it too much to hope for cameos from Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone? We can certainly dream. Streaming on Netflix
