WWE's ex-UFC star vows 'to retire Brock Lesnar' in explosive interview

The 33-year-old shot to fame in MMA in both UFC and Bellator before switching to wrestling last year.

He has been making waves since debuting in NXT and appears to be bang on course to reach the very top.

And he will not let “The Beast” – a former UFC heavyweight champ – stand in his way.

Not only has he vowed to defeat him, Riddle is determined to end his career.

Speaking to WWE.com’s Jeremy Borash, he said: “Retiring Brock that’s no secret. That’s been the goal since I started wrestling, since the very beginning.

“I like to set goals that seem impossible.

“Only one person can retire Brock Lesnar. Only one person can end his career. –  and that person is going to be me.

“I don’t like how he does it. I don’t like the respect that he shows. And I don’t like the work rate he puts out. That’s just my personal opinion, I think that he’s capable of more.

“Maybe it doesn’t work out for him, maybe it doesn’t work out the first time but I guarantee you I’m going to beat him – and I’m going to retire him.”

Lesnar successfully retained his belt last time out against Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble.

He is now preparing to defend it again at WrestleMania 35 on April 7.

Seth Rollins will be the next man to try and dethrone “The Conqueror” at the Showcase of the Immortals.

He secured his title shot by winning the 30-man over-the-top-rope Rumble last month.
