Watch Liverpool star Mo Salah miss first Premier League penalty in FOUR YEARS and hit bar with rebound against Leicester
MO SOLAH missed his first Premier League penalty in FOUR years as Liverpool took on Leicester at King Power Stadium.
The Egypt superstar won the spot-kick 14 minutes into Tuesday’s late kick-off after tempting Foxes defender Wilfred Ndidi into a lunge in the box.
He kissed the ball before placing it on the spot in front of a raucous home crowd.
And seconds later he would see his shot saved as Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel guessed correctly.
The Denmark international leaped to his right and got a strong palm to Salah’s left-footed blast.
But he could only parry it back into the path of the on-rushing Liverpool talisman.
Salah though could not keep his follow-up header down and was denied by the crossbar.
The 29-year-old's last miss from the spot was against Huddersfield on 28 October 2017.
