Watch Hollywood star Quinton Jackson get destroyed by MMA legend Emelianenko with brutal right hook KO at Bellator 237 – The Sun

HOLLYWOOD star Quinton Jackson had a heavyweight debut to forget after getting destroyed by MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko in the first round of their Bellator 237 fight.

Jackson – who played B. A. Baracus in the 2010 smash-hit film The A Team – was on the end of a brutal right hand to the temple at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on Saturday night.

Jackson, 41 – who goes by the nickname "Rampage" when in the octagon – looked overweight for the contest, with the fighter claiming he felt like a "hippopotamus."

Speaking immediately after his loss, he said: "Sorry guys, we didn’t get the outcome that we wanted.

“But you know what, I knew one of was going to get knocked out, but I didn’t know it was going to be f****** me.

"But you know what, I ain’t mad though, you win some, you lose some.

“But you get paid for all, y’all remember that. It’s all good, it’s all good. I’m not in a bad mood, I just know what I got to do, I got to get my damn weight down.

“I felt like a hippopotamus out there, but that’s my fault. No excuses."

Emilianenko, 43 – who has now won three out of his last four fights in Bellator – stated that he knew he was getting the better of Jackson before he delivered the knockout blow.

He said: "I thought the fight would end up on the ground, but as soon as I got into the cage, I started to feel that I was faster than Rampage and I started to feel that edge.

“It would make no sense to go to the ground, so that’s why I kept it up.”

Fans were left bitterly disappointed by Jackson's physique, as one tweeted: "No disrespect to "Rampage" Jackson but he didn’t look in tremendous shape.

"He was a walking target during the whole fight."

Another commented: "Wow, Rampage looks disgusting. Easily the most out of shape he’s ever been.

A third added: "I ain’t never seen Rampage fat like that."

Elsewhere on the card, British star Michael Venom extended his record to 17-1 with a second round stoppage win against Shinsho Anzai.

He is now targeting a rematch against Douglas Lima as he looks to avenge his May defeat, but claims his rival is avoiding him.
