Watch Anthony Joshua knock heavy bag off wall with brutal punch as he prepares for Andy Ruiz Jr showdown

ANTHONY JOSHUA once again demonstrated his brutal punching power after he knocked a heavy bag off the wall as he prepares to face Andy Ruiz Jr on June 1.

The 29-year-old is training in Miami ahead of his bout at Madison Square Garden next month where he is looking to put on a show in his first outing in America.

In a video he posted on his YouTube channel, the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion showed off his gym – designed by members of his own team.

While he also showed off lethal combinations as he knocked a punching bag off its hinges with a swift left hook.

Speaking of the incident, AJ explained: "I done my session this morning, listen nothing’s ever going to be perfect, so I’m punching, I’m punching, I’m punching, the whole bag comes out of the wall.

“Don’t worry about that, that’s boxing for you."

Joshua recently hit out at rivals Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, claiming the longer they wait to fight him, the better he will be.

The Gypsy King insisted he wants three fights before hanging up his gloves with a domestic dust-up against the 2012 Olympic gold medallist not in his plans.

While a match-up between the Bronze Bomber and Joshua may be pushed back until 2021, with Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn blasting the WBC king.

Wilder recently insisted that he will call the shots when and where the two meet meet inside the centre of the ring, claiming the Brit has no negotiation power.

The American is preparing to face Dominic Breazeale at the Barclays Center this Saturday – an opponent AJ knocked out in seven rounds in 2016.

Joshua has predicted Wilder will win in the same fashion, but is desperate for Breazeale to hang on until at least the eighth round.
