Tyson Fury's fight with Schwarz is a joke and he should be ashamed of himself, blasts Dillian Whyte

DILLIAN WHYTE has slammed Tyson Fury’s next fight against Tom Schwarz claiming “he should be ashamed of himself.''

It was announced that Fury, 30, will face the 24-0 WBO No2 ranked heavyweight on June 15 in Las Vegas in the first fight of the Gypsy King’s £80million ESPN deal.

Speaking to IFL TV, Whyte, who has also been linked with a move to ESPN, slammed Fury’s next contest and questioned why he is fighting the otherwise unknown Schwarz.

Whyte said: “It’s f***ing b******s – he should be ashamed of himself fighting Tom Schwarz.

“You’re top four in the world, why are you fighting Tom Schwarz? You’re Lineal heavyweight champion, why are you fighting Tom Schwarz?

“There’s better guys out there for you to fight – why the hell are you fighting Tom Schwarz?

“You say you’ll fight anyone, any time, anywhere, why are you fighting Tom Schwarz?”

Fury looked set to rematch Deontay Wilder, having been on the receiving end of a contentious split-decision draw in December.

But after the lucrative deal with ESPN presented itself, the rematch has been shelved.

Having been knocked down twice in the fight, despite outboxing Wilder, Whyte, 30, admitted an easier fight for Fury was warranted – just not Schwarz.

“I get it, you’ve just had a hard fight against Wilder, I get it you want an easier fight – but Tom Schwarz is a joke. Tom Schwarz is nowhere near Fury’s level.

“Easy fight, but I get it in every fighter’s career you need one, or two easy fights and this is just one of them."
