Tyson Fury open to fighting drug cheat Jarrell Miller this October in New York and 'doesn't care' about his past problems

TYSON FURY has signalled his intention to face Jarrell Miller in his next outing when he fights again on October 5.

The 30-year-old has declared he will be competing in New York – home of the Brooklyn brawler – for the first time since 2013.

Fury is coming off the back of a second-round stoppage win against Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas earlier this month, where he channelled his inner Apollo Creed.

And he has revealed that a challenge against Big Baby is at the top of his list – despite the American failing three drugs tests prior to his bout against Anthony Joshua.

Miller claimed he lost out on £24million after seeing his fight against AJ scrapped, as replacement Andy Ruiz Jr shocked the world as he floored the Brit star four times before the referee waved away the contest.

Fury himself turned to drugs in the aftermath of his win against Wladimir Klitschko, with his recently lifting the lid on his battle against personal demons.

Speaking to iFL TV on his next fight, Fury said: "I am fighting in October. I think Deontay Wilder’s fighting the end of September and I’m fighting a week later, October 5, New York City.”

When asked whether Miller is being looked at, the Gypsy King added: "I’m open yeah. I’m open to fight Jarrell Miller no problem, I’ve not got no problems with him, doing whatever he wants to do in his life.

“If he feels the need that he’s got to… do what he’s got to do, that’s none of my concern, my concern is, boxing and winning, not what the other man’s going to do to himself.

“So Jarrell Miller is an option, he’s a big old fella – he’s highly rated, he’s 23 stone and 6 foot 4 and he’s unbeaten.

“He’s the highest available opponent, he’s number three in America, behind [Andy] Ruiz and [Deontay] Wilder and he’s popular because of all the scandal.

“So you could get somebody that nobody knows but people don’t want that.

“Listen I’d be open to negotiating with ‘Big Baby,’ for sure."

Promoter Frank Warren also echoed Fury's statement that Miller was being eyed up, with the unbeaten boxer expected to have one more warm-up fight before a rematch against Wilder.
