Tim Tebow belted his first home run in Class AAA and then got silent treatment in dugout

Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is still pursuing his baseball dreams, as the Heisman winner is playing Class AAA ball with the Syracuse Mets.

Tebow has played in 34 games this year for Syracuse and is hitting just .157 with 17 hits in 108 at-bats. But one of those hits is a home run, which he hit in Sunday's loss to the Columbus Clippers.

Tebow, who once led the Denver Broncos to a thrilling playoff overtime win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, launched his first Class AAA homer over the wall in right field. Then when he got back to the bench his teammates did the old silent treatment tradition for someone's first homer before celebrating with him:

Maybe that homer will get Tebow going. Either way, pretty impressive to see him do that.

OPINION: Tebow should walk away from baseball
