Revealed: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer odds to be sacked by Man Utd before the summer

The club legend was hired to reinstall the feel-good factor around Old Trafford but the former Cardiff boss may struggle to turn around United's misfortunes.

The 45-year-old has been loaned from Molde and is set to return to the Norwegian outfit at the end of season once his interim role has expired.

Manchester United's plan is to install a permanent boss next summer – with Mauricio Pochettino the favourite to take the role.

But the Man Utd hotseat  is a huge step up for Solskjaer who has previously managed Cardiff in the Premier League.

Betfair's Katie Baylis “While Solskjaer may have just been appointed interim coach, there are many that believe he may not last too long as he tries to fix the mess at Old Trafford.

"We make it 16/1 that he won’t last the season though, as United could do with as little upheaval as possible over the next few months.”

Solksjaer is 6/1 to make an impression and be hired as the permanent replacement for Jose Mourinho.

The former forward's first game in charge of the Red Devils is against his former side Cardiff on Saturday.
