Ramsey absence confirmed as Arsenal name 21-man squad travelling to Valencia

AARON RAMSEY has not been named in Arsenal's 21-man squad travelling to Valencia for the Europa League semi-final.

The injured Welshman, 28, has already played his final game for the club ahead of his summer switch to Juventus.

Arsenal travel to the Mestalla Stadium with a huge advantage after their incredible 3-1 win in the first leg.

Alexandre Lacazette struck twice to cancel out Mouctar Diakhaby's opener before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed the deal.

But Unai Emery's men will be without Ramsey – who was reduced to tears as he received an award from the club on Sunday.

The 30-year-old came out in a post-match ceremony to say his goodbyes to the fans that have cheered him on for 11 years.
