Racing League odds: Bookies predict two-horse race in massive £2million finale to blockbuster series at Newcastle
BOOKIES think the Racing League is almost too close to call ahead of the blockbuster finale to the £2million series at Newcastle on Thursday night.
Just four points separate Team ThoroughBid and Goat Racing at the top of the table going into the last six races.
But with 25 points up for grabs in each race, the table can be turned upside down in a second.
As it is, Team ThoroughBid are even money to maintain their position at the top and scoop the inaugural competition, while Goat Racing are 11-10.
William Hill spokesman Ruairi Stirling said: "On paper it’s looking like a two horse racing heading to Newcastle, however a dash to the line from a number of teams could yet see an unexpected winner.
"It’s been a topsy turvy leaderboard over the last six weeks.
"After a slow start Team ThoroughBid were available at 14-1 (now evens) to be the winning team prior to the week two action at Doncaster.
"Goat Racing were available at 16-1 (now 11-10) as late as week three of the competition."
