Racehorses whose names were inspired by the epic TV show Game Of Thrones

GAME Of Thrones reached it's climax on Monday, and I for one am experiencing a bout of post-Thrones blues.

There are clearly a number of racehorse owners who also caught the bug, as several equine athletes carry the names of the show's big guns.

Much like his namesake, Tony Carroll's six-year-old was a bit of a villain in his youth.

Had a big part of him lopped off in 2016 and he has gone up in punters estimations since with some noble performances.

Not one to shirk a scrap and he duly showed plenty of courage in battle to win at Yarmouth on Wednesday.
