Plucky punter wins £4,600 from a £1 acca thanks to Peterborough's injury-time comeback against Derby

PETERBOROUGH'S injury-time goals in their 2-1 win over Derby ensured one lucky punter won £4,655.93.

Ladbrokes revealed a bettor placed a £1 bet on an 11-fold accumulator on games across the Championship and League One.

Ten games all came through with relative ease apart from Peterborough vs Derby.

The punter backed Peterborough to win the match as his first selection on the long bet slip.

Wayne Rooney's Derby took the lead in the 77th minute opener, making it look like the the hopes of landing the jackpot were over.

But 11 minutes of stoppage time saw the Posh steal all three points.

Harrison Burrows equalised in the 91st before Peterborough went on to score the winner in the 100th minute.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "One lucky punter correctly managed to predict the outcome of 11 games in the EFL last weekend, using up more than their fair share of luck in the opening game of the acca.

"And we can only assume Siriki Dembele is our customer's new favourite player after his 99th minute winner."
