Paul Pogba 'enthused' by Man Utd's appointment of Ralf Rangnick in boost to club's hopes of keeping midfielder

PAUL POGBA is reportedly ‘enthused’ by the arrival of Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United.

The 28-year-old is out of contract in June and is yet to agree terms on an extension.

Speculation continues to mount over his future with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus believed to be keen on signing him.

Pogba is currently sidelined with a thigh injury and has been in Dubai to take part in some warm weather training as part of his recovery.

However, when he does return to action it will be playing for a new man.

Rangnick has finally confirmed that he is taking over the Red Devils until the summer – and the French international is looking forward to playing for the German.

That is according to The Athletic, who state Pogba has received positive feedback on Rangnick through his contacts within the game.

The midfielder is reportedly excited by the prospect of working under Rangnick and feels he is the perfect man to turn around United’s troubles.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has now also dropped the strongest hint yet that the ace could leave United by declaring 'December is the month of dreams'.

During an interview with Italian channel Rai, he said: “December is the month of dreams… and I can't stop dreams, but it is better to not speak about Paul.

“If some former Man United players don't speak about me and Paul, they won't work anymore.

“It's too early to speak about Paul Pogba's contract. Let's see what happens. I can't stop anyone from dreaming.”
