Neymar’s sponsor accidentally shares picture of him in a Barcelona kit before deleting it – The Sun

NEYMAR'S sponsor appeared to have made a huge blooper… by uploading an image of him in a Barcelona shirt.

It is the biggest hint yet that the Brazilian is on the brink of completing a sensational switch back to his former club.

However it has been confirmed that the image was photoshopped by a fan page earlier this month.

The image circulating across social media was uploaded by watch brand Gaga Milano in which Neymar is an ambassador.

Realising their mistake, they quickly deleted it but the damage had already been done.

It could still imply that the deal to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp could still happen before the deadline on September 2.

Barcelona have been locked in a battle with Real Madrid for his signature after the forward revealed his intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Having been knocked back with numerous offers, the Catalan side have produced one final deal worth a staggering £236million.

The BBC claims Barca are ready to pay £182m in cash for the 27-year-old, two years after they sold him to PSG for a world-record £198m fee.

And Barcelona’s deal will rise to an eye-watering £236m as they are also including Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo in the deal, as well as Ousmane Dembele on a season-long loan.

PSG are happy with the figures after reports on Thursday claimed Barca were confident of sealing Neymar’s return before Monday’s European transfer window deadline.

And details of the staggering agreement have now emerged, with Ernesto Valverde seemingly happy to part ways with three players as well as a huge wad of cash.

Croatian midfielder Rakitic, 31, has slipped down the pecking order following the £67m signing of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax, as well as the emergence of Brazilian ace Arthur.

The trickiest part of the deal could be convincing wild child Dembele, 22, to accept a Nou Camp exit after his agent claimed the winger would be “200 per cent staying.”
