Luke Shaw blocked by a tractor.. but Jose Mourinho says he will not park bus as Man Utd face Liverpool

Luke Shaw could have a very valid excuse for turning up a few minutes late for training after the England defender was blocked off by the monster vehicle.

Parked behind the tractor, the 23-year-old could only sit and keep his patience as the worker continued going about his business.

But there was no such problem for Anthony Martial with the injury doubt turning up in a brand new silver Mini.

Martial will be hoping to put doubts over his fitness behind him and get out of first gear in Sunday's clash against the league leaders.

He missed the Champions League tie against Valencia on Wednesday but Mourinho hinted that the Frenchman, along with seven of this team-mates, are ready to upset the odds at Anfield.

Mourinho will want the in-form forward at his very best because he wants to attack Jurgen Klopp's side.

He said: "I'm going to try, I'm going to try, I always try.

“I want to play a team that is capable to be with me on that desire and on that ambition and on that confidence.

“We know that we are going to play against the leader, against a team in a high position.

“But we have our qualities, we have our potential and even with the problems we have and the doubts in terms of team choice, of tactics, approach, philosophy.

“We have doubts about everything but we are going to arrive with the players we have available and going to have a team capable of going there and fight for the victory.

“We got two positive results against Liverpool last season. We beat them at home and we didn't lose any match against them in four, I think, but that was the past.

“So Sunday has nothing to do with what happened in the past, so I have to focus not on what happened, not on the credit we were given or no. I have to focus on the next match, the next match is the one that is important and that's it."
