Liverpool 'eye £60m Pulisic to replace Mane', AC Milan 'prepare' Origi contract, Newcastle £43m Carrasco interest

LIVERPOOL are reportedly set to lose Sadio Mane in a sensational transfer to Bayern Munich.

However, the Reds are not prepared to dwell on their loses for too long as they have been linked with a sensational swoop for Chelsea's Christian Pulisic according to reports.

Another player walking out of Merseyside will be Divock Origi and his expected new club AC Milan are reportedly orchestrating his contracts for the move.

And reports suggest that multi-billion pound club Newcastle are closing in on a deal to sign Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco.

    Good morning football fans

Arsenal have confirmed that Alexandre Lacazette will leave later this month when his contract expires.

An official statement from the club read: "Alex Lacazette will be leaving us at the end of his current contract, which runs until June 30."

Gunners Manager Mikel Arteta said: "Laca has been a fantastic player for us.

"He’s been a real leader on and off the pitch and has been a very important influence to our younger players.

"His commitment with us has been exceptional and we wish him and his family success and happiness.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United and Tottenham have been dealt a transfer blow in their pursuit of departing Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

Inter Milan have been holding talks with Dybala and are confident that a deal can be struck.

The 28-year-old is set to leave Juve in the summer when his contract expires in June.

And the forward is not short of suitors, with both United and Spurs said to be keen on his services.

The North Londoners held discussions over a potential deal last month with the Argentina international’s representatives.

But Dybala has also been in direct talks with Inter vice president Javier Zanetti, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

And Liverpool are keeping tabs on Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic as they prepare to lose Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich in the summer.

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has held talks with Mane’s agent over a possible move in the summer.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has drawn up a four-man shortlist to replace the forward, according to MailOnline.

One of Klopp's targets is Pulisic, who is rated at around £60million and is reportedly keen for a new challenge after a hapless season at Stamford Bridge.

The Merseysiders have also been linked with Bayern's Serge Gnabry and Villarreal's Arnaut Danjuma.

Finally, AC Milan have prepared the paperwork to complete Liverpool ace Divock Origi's move to the San Siro.

That is according to transfer expert Romano, who claims Origi is expected in Milan in the next days to undergo a medical and sign his contract.

The Italian reporter tweeted: "AC Milan have prepared all contracts for Divock Origi, just waiting for the Belgian striker in Milano in the next days to undergo medical tests and sign"

    Christian Pulisic admission

Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic has admitted that he wants more game time amid a potential exit.

Pulisic told US-based journalists: “As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here.

“And I’m super excited to be here. And yeah, that’s it.

“Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

“I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team”

    Faith in Jesus

Arsenal are increasingly confident of sealing a deal for Manchester City ace Gabriel Jesus.

But manager Mikel Arteta is scaling back on his plans for a major spending spree after initially targeting up to seven new transfers.

Now Arteta may have to settle for just three new faces as the Gunners count the cost of missing out on Champions League qualification.

And that will leave the Spanish tactician relying on many of the players who came up just short in the fight with Tottenham for a fourth place finish last season.

Arteta has told technical director Edu that he requires a squad of 22 outfield players to cope with the extra demands of Europa League football next term.

The former Manchester City coach currently has just 16, although Eddie Nketiah is expected to accept the offer of a new £100,000-a-week deal to keep him at the Emirates for another five years

    Jules Kounde reminder

Chelsea are convinced they will sign Sevilla star Jules Kounde in the summer.

The Blues missed out on Kounde last year after the LaLiga outfit raised their asking price in the eleventh hour.

But Chelsea have retained their interest in the centre-back as boss Thomas Tuchel looks to finally secure his services.

According to ABC Sevilla, the West Londoners are hopeful they can reach a deal worth between £43million-£51m.

Sevilla were adamant in 2021 that the France international wouldn’t be sold unless his £68m asking price was activated

    Wan to go

Crystal Palace are looking to re-sign Manchester United ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window.

That is according to London News Online, who report that Roma are also keen on Wan-Bissaka ahead of next season.

The same report claims that the right-back could be deemed as surplus to requirements by new United boss Erik ten Hag.

The England international was sold to the Red Devils in 2019 for a staggering £50million.

Palace are in the market for a right-back even though the club has Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Ward to choose from

    Aaron Hickey blow

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is said to have “doubts” over the potential signing of Bologna ace Aaron Hickey.

That gives a major transfer boost to other suitors, such as Brentford who are also hoping to land Hickey in the summer.

The Gunners want the left-back to cover for fellow Scot Kieran Tierney, whose injuries continue to plague his career.

Meanwhile, the Bees only have one pair of recognised senior full-backs, with Rico Henry their only option on the left side of Thomas Frank’s back five

    Lukaku agrees Inter return

Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku has agreed a sensational return to Inter Milan less than a year after returning to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues forked out a club-record £97.5million fee to bring Lukaku back last summer.

And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the centre-forward is on the brink of sealing another sensational return, this time to the San Siro.

The Italian outlet claim the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement to pay the Belgium international’s £6.39million wages in a loan deal.

The 28-year-old is said to have 15 days to convince the club's lawyers to accept the proposal

    Newcastle target Carrasco

Newcastle are set to relaunch a £51million offer to land Atletico Madrid ace Yannick Carrasco after securing Premier League status.

Carrasco was a target during the January transfer window, only for the deal to break down due to the Magpies’ threat of relegation at the time.

According to AS, however, the forward could move to St James’ Park if his €60million (£51m) release clause is triggered.

Manager Eddie Howe is set to be backed by the Saudi-based Public Investment Fund in the summer transfer window in his bid to sign his priority targets

    Origi move almost done

AC Milan have prepared the paperwork to complete Liverpool star Divock Origi's move to the San Siro.

That is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who claims Origi is expected in Milan in the next days to undergo a medical and sign his contract.

Romano tweeted: "AC Milan have prepared all contracts for Divock Origi, just waiting for the Belgian striker in Milano in the next days to undergo medical tests and sign."

In a Harry for the record

England captain Harry Kane has admitted he is desperate to break Wayne Rooney's goal record BEFORE the Qatar World Cup.

The Tottenham forward is just FOUR goals away from Rooney's record of 53 having played 52 less games.

Kane said on beating the record: "I'd like to break it as soon as possible. I'd love to score as many goals as I can in the next four games before the World Cup and see where we go from there.

"I'm someone who I feel doesn't let that affect me when I'm on the pitch, I have a job to do.

"It's not about goalscoring records and thinking about that stuff when I'm on the pitch. It's about the team and getting three points, and winning the game.

"Of course I'd love to do it as soon as possible but if it doesn't happen for some reason and it goes into the World Cup then so be it.

"The World Cup is probably the best competition in the world so I'll have a lot of focus on trying to achieve that and try to go on and win that, so we will have to wait and see."

Though they state he could be on the move in January to give time to impress in the Europa League group stage.

    Foden out of England squad

Gareth Southgate has revealed Phil Foden is one of three players not fit to play in England's clash against Hungary tomorrow.

The Manchester City star will sit out of the Nations League fixture after returning a positive Covid-19 test.

Foden has been pictured in England training this week, while Tomori and Guehi both arrived nursing minor knocks.

Three Lions boss Southgate is hopeful all three are back in contention for Tuesday's game against Germany.

He said: "Fikayo and Marc Guehi both arrived with injuries but they're progressing well.

"They won't be involved in tomorrow's game but there's a chance of involvement against Germany.

"Phil Foden unfortunately has tested positive for COVID so he's had to leave. Hopefully he'll be able to meet up when we come back from Germany."

    Having Nun of it

Darwin Nunez has been told NOT to pursue a transfer to Manchester United and to instead join Liverpool by former Kop star Jose Enrique.

New United boss Erik ten Hag wants to bring the 22-year-old striker to Old Trafford to spearhead his rebuild of the United squad.

However, Enrique – who appeared in the Man Utd vs Liverpool legends game – declared Nunez should snub a move to Manchester in favour of joining up with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

Enrique took to his Instagram story to highlight an article which suggested Nunez was set to move to United, giving a passionate answer to the reports.

He said: "I hope this is not true and he comes to us instead.

"We should go for him, a top player who can become world class under Klopp if we sell Sadio Mane."

"I try not to let anything get to my head.

"It's all about enjoying it, as long as I'm enjoying myself, playing football and enjoying life off the pitch even, then I will perform well.

Real wants answers for fan chaos

Real Madrid have demanded "answers and explanations" as to who was at fault for the shocking scenes outside the Stade de France before and after the Champions League final last weekend.

Former England and Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge has been released by Australian side Perth Glory.

The 32-year-old made the move down under in October 2021 but failed to score in six appearances for the club.

Injuries also hampered Sturridge's spell at Perth, missing 16 games in a season which saw the side finish bottom of the 12-team A-League.

Perth won just four in 26 games.

Prior to his stint in Australia, Sturridge decided to move to Turkey to play for Trabzonspor in 2019.
