How Man Utd could line-up against Southampton with McTominay fine after stomach issues and Martial and Bailly recalled

MANCHESTER UNITED are set to have Scott McTominay available for their home game against Southampton.

The midfielder was taken off with stomach cramps at Arsenal but is fit to start at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

His first-half exit at Arsenal suggested he could struggle to be fit for United's next game.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the Scotland international is available to start against the Saints.

United are in a strong position with a virtually fully fit squad for the game.

Defender Eric Bailly started on the bench against the Gunners but could return to the side.

Victor Lindelof struggles to play twice a week due to an ongoing back issue and may be rested for this match.

Solskjaer wants to keep his players fresh and could rotate some of his side due to the hectic fixture list.

The United boss said: "Well apart from the wear and tear and, as you say, the quick turnaround everyone should be available.

"They're not injured anyway. It's just a matter of energy levels and seeing how they feel tomorrow. There are no new fresh injuries anyway."

The Red Devils' only significant injury remains Phil Jones with the centre-back still recovering from a knee operation in the summer.
