How Arsenal could line-up against West Ham with David Luiz set to return from injury but where do Saka and Pepe fit in?

MIKEL ARTETA is preparing to lead Arsenal into their first home game of the season against West Ham on Saturday.

The Gunners go into the 8pm kick off on the back of a 3-0 opening-day win over Fulham.

And to boost spirits at the club even further, captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has since signed a new three-year deal, quashing speculation he could quit this summer.

The Gunners boss will be buoyed by the return of some first-team stars for the clash with the Hammers, too.

David Luiz appears to be fit following his injury, while Dani Ceballos looks set to be available after returning for another season-long loan from Real Madrid.

Bernd Leno will likely start between the sticks, with Arteta fielding another 3-4-3 ahead of the German.

Luiz will now likely start on the right of the defensive trio, with Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle and Kieran Tierney on the left.

Bukayo Saka could return to take the place of Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the left-wing-back role, with Hector Bellerin on the right.

Ceballos will likely partner Granit Xhaka in the two central midfield roles.

The Swiss ace took a knock during the win over Fulham and is likely to be fit to play.

But should Xhaka not recover in time, Mohamed Elneny would likely take his place having also started against the Cottagers last weekend.

Up front, Arteta is highly unlikely to make any chances to his front-three after their strong outing at Craven Cottage.

Willian will surely keep his place on the right after his superb debut, meaning club-record buy Nicolas Pepe may be forced to start on the bench.

Alexandre Lacazette should lead the line against West Ham, with Aubameyang continuing his hot form on the left.

But should Arteta decide to play Pepe, Willian could be shunted out to the left, with Aubameyang replacing Lacazette through the middle.
