The Giants have lost one of their best players in another COVID-related issue.

Star cornerback James Bradberry will miss Sunday night’s game against the Browns after going on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.

Bradberry, 27, came in close contact with an individual who tested positive for COVID-19 and is not affiliated with the Giants. The contact occurred outside the team’s practice facility.

Earlier Thursday, the Giants announced that offensive coordinator Jason Garrett tested positive for COVID-19 and he will miss Sunday night’s game. Former Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens, the Giants’ tight ends coach, will call the offensive plays against Cleveland.

Bradberry joined the Giants as a free agent this year on a three-year, $43.5 million contract.
