Gareth Bale to see out Real Madrid contract until 2022 but unlikely to make Tottenham return due to massive wages – The Sun

GARETH BALE'S agent believes the Welshman will snub a transfer back to Tottenham, even when his Real Madrid contract expires.

The winger, 30, is tied down until the summer of 2022 as he continues to pocket a staggering £600,000 per week – although Zinedine Zidane is unlikely to offer him an extension.

But Bale's representative Jonathan Barnett does not reckon a return to White Hart Lane would be on the cards for his client.

His huge wage demands will price most clubs out of a move while the Wales international is settled – alongside his three children with childhood sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones – in the Spanish capital.

Quizzed on a potential transfer taking Bale back to Spurs, Barnett told talkSPORT: "I don’t think so, no. He’s in a very fortunate position.
