Furious Macclesfield players planning to boycott FA Cup tie vs Kingstonian over bitter pay row – The Sun

MACCLESFIELD’S angry players are planning to boycott their FA Cup tie against Kingstonian on Sunday.

The Silkmen are considering sensational strike action over a bitter pay row.

The fuming squad want to make their point that they won’t accept late payments.

But they aim to do so without damaging their position in League Two.

But the lack of progress is angering players who are on low wages in the first place.

And the only way of highlighting their case and putting pressure on owner Amar Alkhadi is to refuse to play in the first round tie.
