The NBA and fantasy basketball seasons tip off in less than a week, so we gathered our experts for one final mock draft — this one for leagues that play head-to-head categories.
This system is unique in that, unlike points leagues, categories matter — and unlike season-long roto formats, you can punt a category or two and still win. That means Giannis Antetokounmpo’s shoddy high-volume free throws won’t necessarily kill you, and it also means category specialists like a 3-point shooting Duncan Robinson carry some extra value compared to points leagues.
