Fallon Sherrock fever scaring Mensur Suljovic ahead of PDC Darts clash

Ahead of his second round clash with breakout darts star Fallon Sherrock, Mensur Suljovic has opened up on the effect the fans could have on the match.

Sherrock faces Suljovic off the back of a historic first round win over Ted Evetts , where she became the first woman to win a darts world championship match.

Her victory has catapulted her to stardom and Suljovic believes he has to be ‘fully focused’ or else he will also lose to the 25-year-old.

“The audience will hundred percent choose her side and the spectators play a big role at the World Championship”, Suljovic told ORF.at.

“But actually she has three darts, just like we do. You really have to play fully focused and be focused against her, otherwise you lose one hundred percent.”

Suljovic is currently ranked number 11 in the PDC’s World Rankings and Sherrock is looking forward to the challenge of facing one of the world’s best.

”Mensur is one of the best players in the world, so I’m looking forward to meeting him,” she said.
