Conor McGregor compares himself to James Bond as he arrives at court in three-piece suit following driving charges | The Sun

CONOR McGREGOR compared himself to James Bond as he wore a three-piece suit at court.

The UFC legend appeared at Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin on Thursday.

And it was heard that he could face possible further charges relating to existing driving offences.

McGregor was charged in April with allegedly speeding in his £150,000 Bentley, as well as driving with no insurance or licence, after being pulled over by police in March.

And the MMA icon returned to Ireland from his holiday in France for another court visit this week.

According to TalkSport, McGregor did not indicate how he intends to plead the charges against him.

And the case was adjourned until Thursday September 8 as the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) considers the case and further possible charges.

But McGregor broke his silence on social media today.

Posting a picture showing him exiting the court in a three-piece suit, McGregor wrote: “Bond is dead, meet me at the spot.”

However, whether he fancies replacing Daniel Craig as the next 007 in the famous film franchise remains to be seen.

That’s because McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are in talks for a sensational boxing rematch that would be worth $1BILLION.

Mayweather beat the UFC legend in the boxing ring during their first fight in June 2017.

But McGregor drew plenty of plaudits just for reaching the 10th round against a man some believe is the greatest boxer ever.

SunSport exclusively revealed last year the pair were discussing a mouth-watering rematch.

Fight Hype, has backed that up by revealing more recent talks between the two sporting legends.

The boxing website adds that Mayweather will secure another "nine-figure payday" if the bout gets finalised.
