Dan Le Batard is gone from ESPN but his feud with Clay Travis lives on.

After Le Batard’s next venture — a “politically progressive, diverse sports content company” with former ESPN president John Skipper, according to Front Office Sports — was revealed, Travis escalated the feud following Le Batard calling him a “s–tstain” last week.

“Good luck to them,” Travis, the Fox Sports radio host, tweeted on Tuesday. “I welcome anyone who wants to start their own media business. Yay, capitalism. But this will just make @outkick even more successful because it pushes the rest of the sports media industry even farther left. It’s a woke knife fight to see who is the purest.”

Le Batard, who left ESPN after a final show on Jan. 4, called out Travis last Thursday on his “Local Hour” podcast. The day after the riot at the Capitol by a mob of President Trump supporters, Le Batard did not hold back on Travis and others.

“Finally our country’s leadership united against the monster because they were scared s–tless of chickens coming home to roost,” Le Batard said Thursday. “This is what was wrought. This is what was going to get here because of everything you saw happening over the last 12 months to us and elsewhere because I’ve got something for that s–tstain Clay Travis, who wants to sit it out now when he was having Trump on his infomercial podcast, Dixie Vodka cheap s–t, just getting Trump to foment this base and then walks away and says, ‘Hey I never said anything about violence.’

“Nah man, nah, you guys did in all your code. I worried about the subtle guys who could do the Trump s–t cause if you were willing to follow that Frankenstein s–tbag to where you followed him? That’s what you get yesterday.”

Travis had sent a tweet on the day of the riot saying he voted for Trump but that “violence is never the answer.”

Le Batard and Travis had feuded back in February, with the former ESPN radio host claiming Travis “traffics in” hate. Travis had said ESPN’s cancellation of “High Noon” was “a smart move because woke sports doesn’t rate and never has.”
