Chelsea boost as Antonio Rudiger makes quick recovery from knee injury to sure up defence for Man Utd clash

ANTONIO RUDIGER'S return to fitness is the biggest boost Chelsea could hope for after being so unreliable at the back recently.

The German's incredible athleticism and aggression will be required for the one point minimum they need at Manchester United on Sunday for their top-four push.

And Rudiger's comeback is particularly timely as United will need to bounce back from their feeble 2-0 Premier League defeat at home to new leaders City on Wednesday.

Emerson looks way more reliable then Marcos Alonso of late.

Spainard Alonso is a great left winger but his defensive abilities can be questioned.

And his confidence appears at a low ebb.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek should start if only to give youth, speed and his immense physical strength in the middle of the pitch.

He was great against Burnley's big boys last week, shrugging off some mean tackles.

And there's no doubt that Olivier Giroud should be the man to lead the front line.

It's Chelsea's weak point in the team and the World Cup winner is the best of them even at 32.

Boss Maurizio Sarri has used Eden Hazard as a 'false nine' in big games before.

But there is no question he is best employed on the left so he can track back, collect the ball and then set the game on fire beating the best defenders anywhere with his incredible dribbling skills.

Chelsea: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson, Kante, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Willian, Giroud, Hazard.
