Cesarewitch Handicap: Runners, ante post odds and FREE BETS for one of the biggest betting heats of the year

THE Cesarewitch is one of the biggest punting races of the Flat season.

Run over two miles and two furlongs at Newmarket, the winner will earn over £120,000 for their connections.

The race is one of the most competitive of the entire season, with up to 34 runners lining up for the stamina-sapping test.

This year's running takes place this Saturday and as ever a large number of big-name trainers and owners will be represented.

Willie Mullins is best known for his exploits with jumps horses but has won the last three runnings of the Cesarewitch.

The master trainer appears to have another strong hand this year, with a total a 11 horses still entered at this stage.

MC Muldoon stands out as the pick of Mullins' bunch and is the current 5/1 favourite, with Triumph Hurdle winner Burning Victory at 10/1.

Nicky Henderson is another jumps trainer with a big chance of landing the spoils in form of classy hurdler and 7/1 second favourite, Buzz.

However, the Flat trainers are no afterthought with the likes of Mark Johnston, Roger Varian and Michael Bell likely to field strong market fancies.

Plenty of horses still retain entries at this stage but several of the better-fancied runners will need others to drop out in order to get a run.

Here, SunSport looks at the complete list of runners as it stands – and their latest odds from Paddy Power.
