Balotelli says ‘my goodness what an a***’ as he hails model ex-girlfriend Rafaella Fico doing squats on Instagram – The Sun

MARIO BALOTELLI knows more than most…if you don't shoot, you don't score.

The maverick Italian has been trying to win back the affections of stunning ex-girlfriend Rafaella Fico after commenting "mamma that butt" as she showed off her squats on Instagram.

The couple have a young daughter together named Pia, 6, but split up back in 2012.

Rafaella recently shared a video that caught her former flame's attention after posting a video of her doing weighted squats to her 384,000 followers, which she captioned: “Today might be enough, dead.”

Never one to miss a tap-in, Balotelli commented: "mamma that butt."

The comment did not go unnoticed after it received over 5,300 likes and a response from Fico herself saying: “You can say that loud daddy.”

The 31-year-old recently hinted that she could be open to dating her baby-daddy again after reportedly saying: "Return with Balotelli? never say never, we have a great relationship, we are very good friends. "

Local media also report Fico and Ballotelli are on good terms despite going through a very difficult period a few years ago.

The Brescia striker only acknowledged he was the father of their child following a paternity test in February 2014, but he has since called Pia “a dream come true”.

Ballotelli was recently seen with his young daughter in his arms prior to a Serie A match against Napoli as Fico and Pia live in Naples.

Former teammate Michah Richards recently revealed the 29-year-old was such a notorious troublemaker at Manchester City that the club would have fined him over £100,000 by Christmas.

After Chelsea's fine sheet was leaked online, the ex-England defender gave his take on Frank Lampard's rule of law which would have tripped up Balotelli.

He told 5 Live: "£20,000 late for the starting of training – that is a lot. But everything else seems to be in sync.
