Arsenal in talks to sign defender Yan Couto but face battle with two clubs for £4m Brazilian teen – The Sun

ARSENAL are in talks to sign teenage defender Yan Couto, according to reports.

The Brazilian right-back has impressed for hometown club Coritiba, who he joined aged eight.

According to Globo Esporte, Couto would be available for just £4.25million – but finds himself at the centre of a three-way battle for his signature.

The Gunners are understood to be keen and view him as a long-term replacement to Hector Bellerin in the role.

The reports adds that a deal could be done within days.

But it is not yet clear if that will with Arsenal or another side.
