CHELSEA will not play another Premier League game until at least April after chiefs suspended action.

And Callum Hudson-Odoi is one of the players who has tested positive for coronavirus as the Blues deal with the spreading infection.

Meanwhile, the transfer rumour mill is still in full operation, and soon-to-be Blue Hakim Ziyech could convince Andre Onana to follow him from Ajax.

  • BRADY: KO THE SEASON

Karren Brady reckons the Premier League season should be declared null and void.

She wrote in her SunSport column:

Who knows who would have gone down or come up if the games have not actually been played in full?

A huge blow to Liverpool who might be robbed of their first title in 30 years.

This will be discussed between the PL and the clubs next week at an emergency meeting.

There are, of course, financial implications, wages and transfer debts must be paid and there is lost broadcast revenue, lost matchday income but this pales into insignificance as the health and well-being of everyone must come first.

Further down the EFL, right down to the pyramid, the greater the threat to future existence. But I suspect that by hook or by crook most will survive.

  • SUBSCRIP-SHUN

Sky Sports and BT Sport will NOT be offering refunds to customers despite the lack of live football on offer.

The Premier League announced on Friday that it would be suspending fixtures until at least April 3 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Sports subscriptions cost hundreds of pounds per year, but Sky and BT will not be refunding fans for the time there’s no football on.

Sky Sports managing director Rob Webster said: “A number of sporting events have been postponed, but not cancelled, so we expect to be able to show these when they are rescheduled.

“Therefore, our live schedule is likely to look different for a period of time. As more information becomes available, we will continue to provide updates to all of our customers.”

  • CESCFLIX & CHILL

Cesc Fabregas has asked fans to recommend him binge-worth TV programmes as he prepares for weeks at home.

Ligue 1 has been suspended and Monaco star Fabregas, 32, is facing foreseeable future at home.

The Arsenal and Chelsea legend, who won two Premier League titles with the Blues in 2015 and 2017, has turned to his social media followers for advice.

As well as asking for TV programmes to watch, the Spaniard also joked he was at a loose end as wife Daniella Semaan won’t “allow me to have more kids”.

He wrote: “Since we have to stay at home for some time and my wife doesn’t allow me to have more kids (for now), what series do you guys recommend that have more than 4 seasons at least?”

The best response was, inevitably, Premier League years.

  • POSTPONED GAMES

At the moment, Chelsea have three games suspended due to coronavirus as a result of cancellations announced yesterday.

    They are…

Today: Aston Villa (A) – PL

Wed Mar 18: Bayern Munich (A) – CL

Sat Mar 21: Leicester (H) – FA Cup

The Blues' Premier League game against Manchester City, originally scheduled for March 21, was postponed due to their FA Cup quarter-final with Leicester.

  • EXCLUSIVE

Premier League chiefs are under increasing pressure to CANCEL the entire season after announcing a three-week shutdown due to coronavirus, reports Martin Lipton.

An emergency meeting of the 20 shareholder clubs will be held next week following the unprecedented decision confirmed by a teleconference at League headquarters in West London.

At least two club bosses want the campaign declared null and void, which would deny Liverpool — managed by Jurgen Klopp — a first title win since 1990.

League chiefs are determined to resume playing when possible and play through to complete the season.

But a growing number of clubs believe that there is little or no prospect of football returning for MONTHS and that there is no alternative but to annul the entire campaign and start from scratch in August.

They will argue that, at this point, nothing substantial in terms of the title, European places or relegation has been decided and that therefore nobody in the Prem would be able to prove they have suffered any loss by the decision.
