  • TOLD YOU SO…

It's time for the smug face from the transfer guru himself… Rio Ferdinand.

The 25-year-old has agreed to a four-and-a-half year United contract with the option on the club’s side to extend that by a further year.

  • 'ALWAYS WAS'

Bruno Fernandes has had his heart on a switch to the Premier League.

Manchester United have finally agreed a £55million switch for the Sporting Lisbon star.

Speaking to Portuguese television station SIC, the 25-year-old was asked whether the Premier League was his preference.

    He replied: “It always was.”

When asked specifically about Manchester United, he added: “Anything really.”

  • SERIE-ASLY STAYING

Kalidou Koulibaly will not be making a big-money move to the Premier League this month despite being watched by Manchester United.

Koulibaly, 28, has been tracked heavily by United for the past year while Chelsea have also been monitoring his situation at Napoli.

But the defender expects to remain with the Serie A club at least until the summer.

United made an approach to sign the Senegal star last summer but found Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis unwilling to do business.

  • BOOKED IN

Man Utd have reportedly scheduled a medical for Bruno Fernandes after a transfer fee was agreed between the Red Devils and Sporting.

The Portuguese ace has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for the entirety of January.

Yet, with just days left of the window, United look set to complete the deal worth £46.6m plus £8.5m in add-ons – along with £12.7m fee in performance-related bonuses.

And now the Red Devils have provisionally scheduled his medical assessment for Thursday, as reported by the Daily Telegraph.

  • RED DEVILS

A mob of furious Manchester United fans launched a smoke bomb and fireworks at under-fire chief executive Ed Woodward's house.

Shocking pictures show a gang of around 20 hooded supporters – some of whom are believed to be members of United’s notorious “Men In Black” hooligan firm – targeted the £2million Cheshire mansion.

The gang congregated outside and rang an intercom on large gates at the entrance to the sprawling property on Tuesday night.

When no-one answered, they sprayed red paint over it and launched a red smoke bomb into the grounds before aiming a firework at the house in disgusting scenes.

A source told The Sun: “Woodward has been a disaster as chief executive and needs to leave the club. Lots of people have said it but he doesn’t seem to listen – perhaps because he’s getting paid £4m-a-year.

“So we decided to pay him a visit to tell him to his face. We didn’t get to speak to him but hopefully he’ll get the message because we’re not going away and we won’t stand around doing nothing while our club is ruined.”
