  • MAN UTD, Tottenham and Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

The Brazilian's situation at Barcelona is putting Premier League clubs on alert as the Catalan giants consider a deal to sell the midfielder.

Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich and they have a £102.5m option to make the move permanent.

But Mundo Deportivo claim United, Spurs and Chelsea are ready to swoop if the Germans decide against triggering the clause.

  • JUVENTUS are set to beat Manchester United in the pursuit for in demand striker Erling Haaland, according to Italian reports.

The 19-year-old forward has notched 28 goals in 22 games for RB Salzburg this season including eight in the Champions League.

His scoring form immediately attracted attention from Manchester United, Juve, Borussia Dortmund and Salzburg’s partnered club RB Leipzig.

But according to Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport in Italy, the Serie A champions have emerged as Haaland’s preferred destination.

It is claimed Old Lady bosses have worked with superagent Mino Raiola to discuss a £25million move, meeting the player’s release clause.

  • ARSENAL could go back in for Adrien Rabiot when the transfer window reopens.

The Gunners have previously been interested in the controversial Frenchman, before he joined Juventus on a free transfer in the summer.

Rabiot – who endured a fractious ending to his Paris Saint-Germain career – is wanted on loan by Arsenal, having only started five matches this season, according to The Times.

But the Italian giants want to hold on the 24-year-old midfielder and instead, are keen to offload Emre Can, formerly of Liverpool.

  • CHELSEA are set to bolster their midfield by targeting Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Blues are looking to tie up some vital transfer business next month after being banned in the summer.

And the Daily Star report they will go in for the Parisian duo as they look to secure Champions League football for next season.

Draxler is being viewed as replacing some of the creativity lost by the Eden Hazard sale in the summer – and could be available having failed to secure a regular starting place in the French capital.

Meanwhile, Idrissa Gueye could be trickier to acquire, with the former Everton midfielder only joining PSG in the summer and the club are unwilling to sell.

  • LEICESTER have entered the race for £34million rated defender Daniele Rugani at Juventus.

And it could bring even more pain for Arsenal, who have chased the centre-half since the summer.

Despite the impressive form of Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu, Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on adding some more strength in depth.

Veteran Wes Morgan is the only cover for the two regulars.

And with Rugani well down the pecking order at Juventus, according to The Telegraph, the Italian giants are “bracing themselves” for a January bid.
