AFTER three points on derby day, it's a return to Champions League action on Tuesday for Chelsea.
The Blues welcome Bayern Munich to the Bridge and Frank Lampard will be encouraged by the performance from his midfielder – and especially Mason Mount.
The youngster has excelled in the first team since returning from loan at Derby to finally become a Chelsea regular.
Blues' boss Lampard said of the 21-year-old's display: “I hope Mason’s performance gets digested properly.
“A lot of people talk about Mason. They look at his goals. The work rate and sharpness in his game was unbelievable.”
While in the transfer market, Chelsea are reportedly readying a swoop for Mauro Icardi in the summer.
Icardi, who is owned by Inter Milan, joined PSG on an initial loan deal last summer and the French champions have the option to make the move permanent for around £54.4million.
However, the Argentine forward would have to 'endorse' the move and Chelsea are among the teams considering an approach if the transfer falls through.
And former Chelsea star Eden Hazard will miss the Champions League clash with Manchester City AND El Clasico after breaking a leg in Real Madrid's clash with Levante.
Hazard had only just returned from injury in what has been a nightmare first season at the Bernabeu.
