Cutting up a cucumber seems pretty plain and simple.

Best done in slices, right?

Well, for those of you who like your green cylindrical veg diced then carry on reading because Jenna Fraser has just made your life a whole lot easier.

In a TikTok clip that has racked up a huge 1.9million views, Jenna got out her wooden chopping board and a knife ready to cut up the cucumber.

She said: "I feel like this is a life hack that everyone needs to know."

Instead of slicing the cucumber to create circles, Jenna cut into the veg vertically to create several strips.

Once multiple lines had been cut into the food, she then sliced it as normal. But instead of circular shaped pieces, Jenna created small dices with ease – and it only took her seconds.

"Since a few people said they didn’t know this hack…here it is," Jenna captioned the clip.

In awe of the cucumber cutting hack, many people fled to the comments to praise her for sharing the trick – and others claimed they had already caught on.

One person commented: "I am ashamed to say I never thought of doing it this way."

Another user added: "If people don't dice their cucumber like this.. how exactly are they dicing it, like slice by slice? I thought this was the standard way."

While a third person voiced: "I thought everyone knew this."

Someone else gasped: "Omg why have I never done this before."
