Trump follows a string of celebrities who have called pay-per-view events for Triller over the past year. Snoop Dogg made appearances during November’s Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. match and again in April for the fight between Jake Paul and Ben Askren. Comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson also called during the April event.

“I love great fighters and great fights,” Trump said in the release. “I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event.”

This won’t be Trump’s first venture into the sport, the former president has a long history in the world of boxing, and many history-making fights have featured his involvement, including 1988’s Mike Tyson vs. Michael Spinks event. Trump was also inducted into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame in 2015 and the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame in 2018, having hosted many early UFC events at his casinos in Atlantic City, N.J.

The Triller Fight Club pay-per-view begins at 7:00 p.m. ET and is priced at $49.99. UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz will box former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva in the co-main event. Interested fight fans have the option of watching the Trump ‘gamecast’ or the traditional telecast.
