Woman sprays ‘instant freckles’ on face and people are dumbfounded

A woman has left viewers stunned when she spritzed coloured hair spray on her face to create "instant freckles".

Celebrity dermatologist Sandra Lee, aka Dr Pimple Popper, shared a clip to warn people that it's a dangerous trend to do so.

In the video, the woman uses a can of L'Oreal Retouch Hair Spray, which is ideal for a quick fix to cover grey roots, on her face and sprays it right below her eyes.

The goal is to create "fake freckles".

Dr Lee comments while she watches the clip: "You know, so this woman is using the L'Oreal spray that you used to hide your whites to spritz and create faux freckles, which is a big thing right now on TikTok.

"It's also dangerous to actually tattoo them – I think that one's a little bit too much but it might be as a better way as it's not permanent to put your freckles on your face.

"So practice this before you try that in real life."

Viewers found the trend bizarre, with one said: "She's look like Morgan Freeman now."

"I can't believe freckles are a big thing right now. I was always made fun of for having freckles everywhere," a second added.

Last month, a woman had her face tattooed with "fake freckles" despite people saying she ended up looking like having spots all over her face.

Brianna Olsen documented the process on TikTok and showed the tattoo artist wiping blood off her face as she injected ink onto on her nose and cheeks.

Embracing her new look, she told her viewers: "Let me show you what old people look like with freckles – gorgeous, beautiful, unique.

"There's nothing to regret, these people look amazing when they are older with freckles."
