Vanderpump Rules fans slam Brittany Cartwright for ‘not strapping newborn in car seat- but she insists ‘we were parked’ – The Sun

VANDERPUMP Rules fans slammed Brittany Cartwright for "not strapping newborn in the car seat"- but she insisted that "we were parked."

Brittany, 32, posted a snapshot of her one-month-old infant, Cruz, who was wearing a striped onesie.

In the snap, Cruz sat in his baby carrier while the car was "parked."

The Vanderpump Rules star captioned the photo: "It doesn’t get any sweeter than this" before she explained, "why he isn't strapped in.”

A troll commented: “Looks like the car seat headrest needs to go up a notch.”

Brittany clapped back and took down the troll by stating: “I already arranged it since this photo, and he was sitting high in the seat so everything was just fine.”

Brittany and her Jax Taylor, 41, welcomed Cruz back in April.

This is not the first time Brittany has faced backlash from her followers.

The TV star confessed that she "cried a lot" over the trolls who taunted her over her pregnancy weight gain.

The Vanderpump Rules star told Us Weekly: "When I was pregnant, I got so many mean comments about what my weight gain was.

“I was being heavily compared to Stassi and Scheana and Lala. I’ve always been bigger than them, but my weight has always fluctuated and stuff.

"So it was just hard to see all those comments about my weight stuff when I was healthy and the baby was healthy.”

The Bravo star added: “You’re already so emotional. And then I was in quarantine, I was home, so I was looking at my phone more than I should have.

"There were times when it made me ashamed of how I looked, and I shouldn’t have felt like that.”

Also in November, Brittany blasted the body shamers who mocked the size of her baby bump.

The TV personality responded: “Believe it or not, some women don’t really show at 16 weeks pregnant, while others have pronounced bumps."

"The wide variety of baby bumps can be attributed to everything from a woman’s size and shape to whether this is her first pregnancy or her second, third or fourth.

"Whatever you do, don’t compare your 16 weeks pregnant belly to anyone else’s.”

Recently, Brittany showed off her curvy body after about "five weeks postpartum."

The reality star told the "pregnant moms" out there that they "have to push through those moments."

Brittany added: "And I didn't realize how sore I was going to be or how long I was going to need to be in those ugly diapers and pads, even though it's all worth it. "
