TikToker shares how to get an entire Christmas dinner to feed a family of six for just £24 – which includes pudding and custard for dessert

A TikToker shared how to get an entire Christmas dinner to feed a family of six for just £24.

Elliot William, from Preston, Lancashire, took to his TikTok account @costoflivingcrisistips to reveal how he got the entire Christmas dinner, which includes pudding and custard for dessert, at a bargain price. 

In the clip, which has racked up over 60,000 views, he headed to Aldi to pick up the low price food items. 

He managed to pick up a small turkey crown for just £13.99 and a mixture of sage and onion stuffing for just 43p.

Elliot went on to buy a packet of gravy granules for 95p and 12 frozen Yorkshire puddings for just 79p.

For vegetables, the money-saving influencer grabbed a bag of carrots for 45p and some brussel sprouts for 69p.

He also splashed out on some frozen duck-fat roast potatoes for £2.39 instead of opting for a cheaper bag of potatoes. 

However, he also managed to bag desert for just £4.51 for six people and stay within the tiny budget.

He bought 12 frozen Yorkshire puddings for just 79p and the money saving influencer bought some brussel sprouts for 69p

He picked up a Christmas pudding for £3.69 and some vanilla custard for 55p.

He then cooked his Christmas feast which came to just £23.93 to feed the whole family. 

Speaking to Femail Elliot said: ‘I think it’s important to share my cost of living tips because there are so many people struggling with paying for the basic essentials to survive that every little helps and some of my tips many only save you pennies but pennies make pounds and if someone can save money from my tips then I am happy.’

While many people thought that the TikToker was missing some important components to the Christmas feast such as ‘pig in blanket’ and ‘parsnips’

While many people thought that the TikToker was missing some important components to the Christmas feast such as ‘pigs in blankets’ and ‘parsnips.’

To which Elliot replied: ‘I’m not missing them, I don’t like them.’ 

Another said: ‘No pigs in blankets!’ To which he replied: ‘I’m not a fan of pork wrapped in pork.’

While someone else wrote: ‘Ooh u need parsnips and apple sauce/mint cranberry crackers Buck’s Fizz decent gravy &napkins pig in blankets.’ 

However Elliot admitted he would probably ‘need a bigger budget’ to fit all the extras in.
