Anthony Ippolito took an offer he couldn’t refuse.

The 21-year-old “Pixels” actor has been cast to play Al Pacino in Paramount+‘s limited series “The Offer,” about the making of “The Godfather.”

Ippolito most recently starred in Netflix’s teen drama series “Grand Army.” In addition to “Pixels,” his previous film credits include “The English Teacher,” “You Have the Right to Remain Violent” and “Bella.”

The upcoming role as Pacino in “The Offer” will tell the story behind the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s famed film.

The series itself is based on Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy’s (portrayed by Miles Teller) experience during the making of the movie.

In addition to Teller as Ruddy, Paramount+ has released the names of additional cast members, including: Giovanni Ribisi (“Sneaky Pete”) as Joe Colombo; Colin Hanks (“Fargo”) as Barry Lapidus; Dan Fogler (“The Walking Dead”) as Francis Ford Coppola; Juno Temple (“Ted Lasso”) as Bettye McCartt; Burn Gorman (“Pacific Rim”) as Charles Bluhdorn; Justin Chambers (“Grey’s Anatomy”) as Marlon Brando; Patrick Gallo (“When They See Us”) as the author of “The Godfather” novel, Mario Puzo; Josh Zuckerman (“90210”) as Peter Bart; Meredith Garretson (“Fosse/Verdon”) as Ali MacGraw; Nora Arnezeder (“Army of the Dead”) as Francoise Glazer; Paul McCrane (“ER”) as Jack Ballard; Anthony Skordi (“Star Wars Battlefront II”) as Carlo Gambino; Jake Cannavale (“Nurse Jackie”) as Caesar; James Madio (“Band of Brothers”) as Gino; Michael Rispoli (“The Sopranos”) as Tommy Lucchese; Stephanie Koenig (“Batman v Superman”) as Andrea Eastman; Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”) as Lenny Montana; Frank John Hughes (“Band of Brothers”) as Frank Sinatra; and Danny Nucci (“The Fosters”) as Congressman Mario Biaggi.

Paramount+‘s highly anticipated limited series will consist of 10 episodes written and executive produced by showrunner Nikki Toscano, along with creator and Oscar and Emmy-nominated writer Michael Tolkin (“Escape at Dannemora,” “The Player”). Leslie Greif (“Hatfields & McCoys”) and Teller will also act as executive producers on the production. Dexter Fletcher (“Rocketman”) will direct the series’ first and last blocks.

The 1972 film was directed by Coppola and adapted from Puzo’s best-selling novel of the same name. The film starring Brando, Pacino, James Caan, John Cazale, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton and Talia Shire was nominated for 11 Oscars and won three.
