Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran Revealed Their Secret Project

Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran are working to raise awareness for gingers.

Wait, no they aren't! That's just what a very confused Ed seems to think in a comedic video the pair teamed up to put together for World Mental Health Day. The fun little skit takes a lighthearted approach, but its message is meant to tackle a serious issue.

"It’s World Mental Health Day! Both Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran want to ensure that not just today but every day, you look after yourself, your friends and those around you." reads its accompanying caption.

"There’s no need to suffer in silence – share how you’re feeling, ask how someone is doing and listen for the answer. Be willing to ask for help when you need it and know that we are all in this together."

After both Ed and Harry took to their Instagram accounts to tease a secret project on Wednesday (Oct. 9), the fruits of their labor revealed the light-hearted, fun clip where Sheeran visits the Duke of Sussex to discuss what it's like for "people like us," referring to the fact that they share the same hair color.

It's a fun video that will give you a chuckle, as Harry is visibly confused by Ed's "pro-ginger" campaign – he tells Ed that there must be a "misunderstanding," as he had invited the singer to film with him at Princess Eugenie's Kensington Palace cottage to discuss mental health and self-care for World Mental Health Day.

Ed is visibly embarrassed after revealing he had even been trying to write a song about having red hair, though Harry takes that comment to mean he's really been hard at work on a song about mental health.

"Someone with your skill set, to be able to write lyrics of a song to raise awareness would be amazing," says Harry. The clip ends with a hilariously awkward Ed reliving his mistake and why he was actually supposed to be filming in the first place. Ed and Harry sit side-by-side on a sofa and remind viewers that "we're all in this together" when it comes to mental health.

"Guys, this Mental Health Day, reach out, make sure your friends, strangers – lookout for anyone who may suffer in silence. We're all in this together," says Harry.

It's a fun clip, and it'll certainly put a smile on your face,  but if it helps to enact real change, it's already done its job tenfold.
