Pride London 2019 – when it is, what time it starts and parade route map

It's that time of year again for Londoners to show their pride in being exactly who they were born to be.

That's right, Pride London 2019 has finally arrived, which means that the LGBTQ+ community and their allies will be out in full force to show their rainbow love and acceptance for each other.

This means a huge parade, big crowds, booming music, and some fabulous live performances.

So with all the colour, costumes, sequins, and a message of resisting hatred and discrimination, it's time to feel proud to be who you are.

Here are all the details you need for Pride London 2019.

Pride London 2019 refers to the annual parade through London and takes place on Saturday, July 6, 2019 .

The celebrations continue over the entire weekend, however, covering Sunday, July 7, 2019, too.

What time does Pride London 2019 start?

The Pride London 2019 annual parade stars at 12pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019, beginning at Portland Place.

It is estimated there will be more than 300 floats and the event is expected to last until 5.30pm.

The parade will move from Portland Place down Oxford Street.

From Oxford Street it will turn down Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus and then onto Pall Mall before heading past Trafalgar Square where the live performances are held.

The parade itself will continue on to Whitehall where it finishes.

If you wish to avoid travel disruption, we suggest leaving rather early to make sure you avoid any issues, as it is highly likely that the areas along the parade route will be heavily congested.

Who is performing?

The headliner is Broadway sensation and Pose star Billy Porter, with support from RuPaul's Drag Race and A Star is Born star Willam and Eurovision and The X Factor star Saara Aalto.

The women's stage will see turns from Lloren, Sinitta, Four of Diamonds, Toya Delazy, SuRie, and Heather Peace, with additional acts from Pride's Got Talent 2019.

It's sure to be a weekend to be proud of!
