Passenger escorted off plane in Dublin after displaying ‘coronavirus symptoms’
A man displaying flu-like symptoms has been escorted off a plane at Dublin Airport amid coronavirus fears.
The plane passenger was met by medics upon landing on Saturday evening.
It's understood six ambulances were on the tarmac waiting for the patient.
Pictures shared by fellow passengers show the mass medical response where medics were seen in protective suits.
It's believed the plane took off from Moscow, Russia and landed at Dublin at 9pm, Dublin Live reports.

The man, whose identity has not been revealed, was reportedly taken to the Mater Hospital where an isolation ward has been set up.
Other passengers on the flight were held for up to an hour before being allowed to travel onto their next destinations.
They were given a note of travel advice regarding the recent coronavirus outbreak.
A spokesman for Simon Harris also told Dublin Live: "The HSE can confirm that they have activated their airport protocols for an ill inbound passenger of concern.
"The criteria used to decide whether a person has contracted Coronavirus, combined with increased surveillance, will lead to some individuals being triaged and/or tested as necessary from time to time.
"There are no confirmed cases of novel Coronavirus in Ireland to date. The risk of importation of a case into Ireland from another country is moderate according to ECDC.
"The HSE cannot comment on individual cases nor comment on speculation. No information will be provided about suspected cases of novel coronavirus other than confirmed cases."
