Olivia Bowen has confessed that she's never really been that much of a Christmas fan but as the festive period approaches, this year things are definitely different.

The reality star, who recently revealed she can earn up to £50,000 in a month, is spending her first Christmas inside the stunning home she shares with husband Alex Bowen.

Ever since snapping up the £1m property and moving in earlier this year, the married pair, who met on Love Island, have been living the dream and Olivia is definitely planning on going all out to mark the occasion.

Speaking exclusively to OK! Online , the 26 year old shared how she is going to turn their Essex property into a "Christmas wonderland".

"We’ve got a company called AM Interiors coming next week to turn it into Christmas wonderland, we’re going all out and we’re very excited," Olivia shared.

"I never used to be a massive Christmas person but over the years I’ve turned into an absolute Mrs Clause, I just love it!"

It's something for the reality star couple to look forward too, as they wait like the rest of the UK to see what rules will be in place for Christmas after lockdown is set to lift on 2 December.

Olivia said for her and Alex they're not planning on splashing out on each other as they're just happy to be spending quality time together, but are unsure of what plans to make.

"We haven’t actually made solid plans for Christmas week yet because of everything going on obviously no one fully knows how many people we’ll be allowed or who may have to shield, so we’re playing it by ear."

She added: "Whatever happens it will just be gorgeous to wake up in our dream home on Christmas Day, it will definitely be a ‘moment’ whether it’s just us or whether we have our families staying.

"Snow would be pretty amazing too… but we can’t have it all!"

If they're able to host a normal family Christmas on the big day, Alex said he will definitely be staying away from the kitchen: "If we can have Olivia’s family round and mine and it's within the rules then everyone will be here and everyone will be staying.

"I stay away from the kitchen as it’s no secret that I’m not good at all that, so I will let Olivia and the mums get on with it as I’d definitely get in the way," he laughed.

"Hopefully we’ll all wake up, Bucks Fizz for breakfast, do some presents and get ready for a lovely meal, I’ll definitely probably be napping with the dogs by four o’clock. After that we’ll probably play some family games and watch all the Christmas specials on TV! Olivia gets very competitive with games though so sometimes I just have to let her win… Happy Wife Happy Life!"

Olivia, who is backing a campaign about retouching photos on social media, said that since lockdown she's spent a lot more days make-up free.

So when it comes to prepping her skin she's all about tinted moisturiser and making sure her skin is super hydrated: "Face masks like Skin Republic are always a winner, it’s also always handy to have Coconut Dry Shampoo (Superdrug, £3.49) to freshen up your hair when you’re lazing around.

"Carmex also have a Moisture Plus Hydrating Lip Tint (Superdrug.com, £4.95) which is always good to keep the lips hydrated in the cold and also add a pop of colour!"

Ahead of lockdown the couple, who own fashion brand Exempt Society, were able to sneak in some beauty treatments at Superdrug's newest store in Glasgow which hosts the largest ever beauty studio.

And for Olivia it was a bit of a lifesaver: "It was really handy so we’re all topped up for now.

"I did have to cancel a brow appointment recently which was annoying as I love to have a good brow as they frame the face nicely. I dread to think what my roots will look like in four weeks so I think I’ll be nipping to Superdrug for some root touch up soon! Other than that everything else can wait, not too long to go!"
