A mother has sparked debate after revealing that her toddler is so ‘pretty’, that he models girls’ clothing – and has slammed critics who accused her of ‘confusing’ him.

UK parenting blogger Ebony Crawford caused both delight and outrage when she posted a clip – which has since raked up more than 4.3million views – showing her son posing up a storm at a photoshoot, donned in a white frilly baby-grow and wearing a golden bow in his hair.

The aim of the video was to show off how adorable two-year-old Joseph was – but commenters rushed to claim it was a ‘no’ from them.

While majority of the commenters were supportive, praising the ‘gorgeous’ boy for ‘making money’, some insisted that he’s going to be ’embarrassed’ by the shoot in the future.

‘Don’t do that to him,’ one poster insisted, while another added they ‘don’t know how they feel about this’.

In the caption, Ebony explained that the girl model ‘wouldn’t do it’, so Joseph ‘took over’ the job.

‘I don’t see why everyone is freaking out,’ a poster defended. ‘He’s like 2. He doesn’t care what he wears and knows he’s cute.’

Another concerned user wrote: ‘This comment section is scary. Your son is beautiful. He won’t be confused because he got dressed up. I dressed up my boy cousins all the time.’

‘Bro is making money,’ one quipped. ‘I don’t he’s gonna care y’all.’

‘A win is a win,’ another joked as some even pointed out the opportunity to get twice the amount of modelling gigs.

‘Look. A job is a job,’ one playful comment read. ‘Real men do what they have to…so cute.’

The mother-of-three hit out at haters as she made a video in reply to one commenter accusing her of ‘confusing’ Joseph.

In it, she asks him if he’s a boy or a girl, to which the adorable toddler replies ‘boy’.

Most were supportive, as many pointed out that little Joseph is able to book twice as many modelling gigs

Commenters chimed in with their support as other parents also shared their own experiences with judgement when it came to their children

‘He’s not confused,’ Ebony wrote. ‘He knows what he is. It was a modelling shoot not his everyday attire ffs.’

‘Can’t believe people are still passing judgement on a stranger’s baby,’ one frustrated TikToker said. ‘Can they not see how gorgeous he is and comment on that?’

Others pointed out that ‘clothes have no gender’ and reassuring Ebony that she doesn’t need to explain herself.

Other parents also shared their own experiences with judgement when it came to their children.

‘He is gorgeous,’ one wrote. ‘My son is 31 & has long hair & is so handsome. Why are people freaking that he was born a boy & has pretty hair? Confused.’

A second added: ‘I put my son in pink t shirts specially when we go on holiday with blue… shorts what’s the problem he’s so cute.’
