My ex sent explicit photographs of me to my colleagues and I’m worried I’ll lose my job

DEAR DEIDRE: MY ex sent explicit photographs of me to my colleagues and I’m worried I’ll lose my job.

I am a guy of 27 and gay, though my family don’t know.

I was in a relationship with a guy of 25. He was violent towards me for months.

He bit and punched me in the stomach, and gave me black eyes twice which meant I couldn’t go to work.

He controlled my money and insisted that he be an additional cardholder on my current account. He was unemployed.

He got into another relationship and I started dating but he came to my flat and stole my phone from me and got in touch with all of the men I’d been talking to online and told lies about me.

Now he’s sent these photographs.
