Meghan’s ‘push present’ is even glitzier than we realised with three hidden gems

It may have been the Queen's big day, but the birthday girl was arguably upstaged at this year's Trooping the Colour by a piece of jewellery.

The Duchess of Sussex made her eagerly-awaited first appearance since the photocall to introduce baby Archie Harrison.

Looking glowing and relaxed, the new mum smiled and waved from the carriage she was sharing with Prince Harry , the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Royal watchers were quick to pick up on the fact that Meghan was sporting a new band on her ring finger , in addition to her re-vamped engagement ring and wedding ring.

A gift from her proud husband on their anniversary and to mark the birth of their son, according to Harper's Bazaar , Meghan's third ring is a delicate pave-set eternity band created by celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.

It's a gift Harry put a lot of thought into.

The diamonds sourced for the band are said to be conflict-free, and the Prince also asked Schwartz to include three additional stones on the underside.

Hidden inside the band are the birthstones for Harry, Meghan and Archie, a "flawless green emerald for Archie, a blue sapphire for Harry, and an olive-green peridot stone for the duchess."

"Meghan was touched," a source told the magazine. "A lot of thought went into it."

Emeralds signify rebirth and love, sapphires are said to protect your loved ones from harm and peridot is believed to instill power.
