Meghan spotted smiling as her baby appears to get active

A right royal kick? Clip of Meghan smiling and closing her eyes as her ‘tummy moves’ during an engagement has royal fans convinced she received a sharp nudge from Baby Sussex

  • The Duchess and Prince Harry, 34, toured the city’s cultural history on Friday
  • Later on Friday, couple visited charity supporting sex workers, with Meghan writing messages of hope on bananas distributed to sex workers in the city

An adorable video clip appears to show the Duchess of Sussex feeling Baby Sussex getting active in the womb in the middle of a public engagement last week. 

The blooming 37-year-old, who is expecting her first child in April, seemed momentarily distracted during the couple’s visit to the Bristol Old Vic theatre on Friday. 

Royal fans who’ve seen the video footage say they’re convinced that the clip shows Meghan getting a sharp prod in the womb from her baby. 

Later in the day, the parents-to-be visited a sex worker charity where Meghan wrote messages of hope on bananas which are distributed across the city to sex workers.

One delighted royal supporter wrote: ‘This is so wonderful that we can all be part of Harry and Meghan’s joy.’

As dad-to-be Prince Harry, by her side, listens intently, Meghan briefly closes her eyes before looking down at her bump and holding it. 

After breathing in, the duchess then looks up and smiles before continuing to listen to the presentation.

After seeing the video on Instagram account Meghan and Harry updates, fans were almost certain the Duchess had been feeling her baby kicking.   

Fan adridivamorales wrote: ‘I can see how the baby moves, is amazing the video.’

Oluchigloriaduru added: ‘Wow thats’ so awesome, he really kicks so hard.’

Perhaps it inspired Baby Sussex to get moving! The pair enjoyed the Young Company performing a song from their production ‘Hercules’

Pregnant Meghan wore a striking silk chiffon Oscar de la Renta midi-dress, priced at around £2,000, to the event last week, which featured a colourful assortment of flora and fauna – including a unicorn. 

During the visit to the city’s main theatre, the pair explored 250 years of sound technology at the theatre’s Noises off exhibition with local pupils. 

They then watched the Young Company performing a song from their production ‘Hercules’.  

Following the performance, the Duchess of Sussex called for drama clubs to be given the same emphasis as sport in school.

The duchess has previously spoken of her passion for using the arts to bring people from different backgrounds together, and her visit today will focus on the work that the NT does, as well as meeting some of the talented teams and apprentices working behind the scenes.
