Lidl shoppers are rushing to buy air fryer that’s £100 cheaper than a Ninja – but there’s a catch | The Sun

SHOPPERS are eager to get their hands on a bargain air fryer that costs £100 less than a Ninja.

The kitchen gadget from Lidl is proving popular on deal finding site HotUKDeals.

The discount supermarket is selling the Salter 7.8L Dual Air Fryer for just £99.99 from Thursday.

But there's a catch, the appliance is only available in store and is likely to sell fast.

Despite it not being available yet, bargain hunters have already been raving about the find on Hot UK Deals.

It has already received a 585C rating on the site.

But several shoppers have raised concerns about how quickly it could sell out and that it could be difficult to get your hands on one.

One commented: "I want one but not enough to risk my life in the brawl."

While another said: "I can see lots of staff ringing in sick that day, if they read about Aldi's debacle in store."

It comes as last month keen customers crashed the Aldi website to get their hands on its Ambiano air fryer.

It was then available in store the following week and very few were able to grab them.

The Salter 7.8L Dual Air Fryer comes with two baskets, so you can cook two different things at once.

It comes equipped with a digital display and six different cooking programs.

The air fryer uses 2400W and can cooks at 60°-240°.

You'll need to head to your nearest Lidl if you want to bag yourself the deal – the supermarket doesn't offer online delivery.

To find your nearest branch, you'll need to visit the website.

The chain has over 800 stores across Britain so you'll likely have one in your area.

Dual-basket air fryers have really gained popularity over the past few months, and there can be some expensive alternatives.

Possibly the most popular brand for air fryers is Ninja, but its dual-drawer fryer costs £199.99 so can be a bit of an investment.

That's why shoppers love alternatives like the Salter and at that price who can blame them.

This is the cheapest price we could find for this model, but as always do have a shop around – there's never a bad time to bag a bargain.

Robert Dyas and Argos are selling the fryers at the moment for £149.99 and £150 respectively.

We did find that Farm Foods is selling the similar Daewoo dual basket fryer for just £99.99 too.

As always before you commit to a purchase, you should have a shop around to make sure you're getting the best deal.
